The Nepal Institute of Cyber Literacy and Security (NICLS) is a youth-driven non-profit organization focused on advancing cyber literacy and promoting digital safety across Nepal. NICLS is dedicated to educating individuals, communities, and institutions on essential practices for online security, data privacy, and cyber hygiene. A key focus area is raising awareness about the risks of digital data leakage, commonly known as “digital flights,” especially through mobile and web applications that unknowingly transmit personal and sensitive information.
Beyond education, NICLS conducts research and advocates for stronger digital rights, cyber fraud prevention, and effective policies to create a safer and more resilient digital ecosystem in Nepal. The organization is deeply committed to giving back to society by empowering people with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to confidently and safely navigate today’s increasingly complex digital landscape.
NICLS strives to build a community where digital literacy is widespread and individuals can protect their privacy and security in an era dominated by rapid technological change.
